L’industrie minière regorge d’innovations
et de nouvelles technologies. Il est vrai que je suis peut-être plus attentive
à ces nouveautés étant donné mon intérêt pour les mines. Lorsque j’ai créé ce blog, mon but était de
démystifier l’industrie minière et de vulgariser certains aspects de cette
dernière pour rejoindre le plus de gens possibles. Alors voici peut-être un
outil qui vous aidera à mieux comprendre ce milieu…
Cet été, j’ai pris plaisir à lire une
publication réalisé par Minalliance qui avait pour titre : 100 innovations dans l’industrie minière. Si vous ne travaillez pas de près ou de loin dans
l’univers minier, prenez quelques minutes pour regarder cette publication. Un
simple regard sur ce livret virtuel et il vous sera possible d’entrevoir que
l’industrie minière n’est pas seulement l’histoire « d’un trou »,
mais plutôt la composition d’une multitude d’expertises.
Dans ce livret, chaque innovation
est accompagnée d’une brève description. Le tout est divisé selon les
principaux domaines d’application retrouvé dans une mine tels que : l’exploration,
l’exploitation, la ventilation, le traitement du minerai, la réhabilitation etc.
L’innovation et le perfectionnement
représentent des aspects visibles dans l’industrie minière. Et détrompez-vous
ceux qui croient encore que l’environnement n’a pas sa place dans cette
industrie, car la réhabilitation du site minier est aujourd’hui partie
intégrante du cycle de la vie d’une mine. Mais plus encore, elle est bien
souvent planifiée avant même la mise en exploitation de celle-ci.

Innovations in the Mining Industry
The mining industry has an abundance of innovations
and new technologies. It is true that I’m probably more attentive than the
average person to these developments due to my interest in mines. When I started this blog, my goal was to
demystify and popularize some aspects of the mining industry in order to join
as many people as possible together. So here is a tool that may help you to better
understand this mining environment…
This summer, I enjoyed reading a publication titled “100 Innovations in the Mining Industry” on the Minalliance website. If you are not involved
in working in the mining industry, take a few minutes to check out this
publication. One look at this virtual book and you will be able to foresee that
the mining industry is not only the story of a “hole”, but also the composition
of a multitude of expertise.
In this booklet, each innovation is accompanied by a
brief description. The whole is divided into the main areas of application found
in a mine such as: exploration, exploitation, ventilation, ore processing,
rehabilitation etc…
Innovation and improvement represent some of the visible
aspects in the mining industry. And those who still believe that there is no
place for the environment in this industry, think again, because the
rehabilitation of the mine is now an integral part of the life cycle of a mine.
Furthermore, it is often planned before the operation of it.
